ABIGAIL NATIAS / EISHETH ZENUNIM

A woman belonging to a long bloodline of female spirit mediums whose talents have been recognized for centuries. When she was just two, her parents separated, and she went to live with her mother while her elder brother Joachim went to live with their father. Her upbringing was a quiet--if not somewhat isolated--one, but she never complained and rather enjoyed the peace and solitude.
As she grew older and honed her abilities, Abigail preferred to live a more secluded life in the Lavender Beds. She worked from home, using her skills as a spirit medium to provide closure for those who had lost loved ones.
One dreadfully late evening, Joachim came to her door. Having been apart for over two decades, Abigail could not recognize him, and she told him to leave. Joachim introduced himself and claimed that he had a dear friend who urgently wished to speak to his deceased mother; something regarding "necessary information" and a "possible murder investigation". Seeing no reason to decline family and considering this to be something potentially important, Abigail allowed him in to her home, where she was immediately put under a powerful sleeping spell and tattooed with sigils-- "primed" to become a vessel for the high voidsent Eisheth Zenunim, Lady of Plagues.
After a long and tragic series of events, it is unknown whether Abigail still lives within her own body, or if Eisheth has fully taken hold.
SWARZEDYR KOELZANTSYN
43 years old.
The "Bargain Bin Embalmer" or "One-Gil Mortician". He is Ziva's ex-boyfriend and also an ex-pirate whose job aboard the ship was "medic"-- in other words, he haphazardly stitched wounds, removed gangrenous limbs with only the barest medical knowledge, and also disposed of corpses. He now offers cheap funerary/embalming services to those who can't pay for a proper burial. Ever since he dated Ziva, he began providing necromancers with bodies for practice.
YVAĂ‹L JACQUINOT
400+ years old, died at 28.
Resurrected via Ziva’s necromancy, he was her first successful “large-scale project”. A “hero” from an Ishgardian legend who died some 400 years prior, working with bones as old as his proved a significant challenge, and his resurrection was something of a miracle. His legend, in his own words, is purely apocryphal. Yvaël was also resurrected with a "contract" he had no say in, stating that he cannot stray too far from Ziva, and he must obey her every command regardless of whether it aligns with his moral values. He is effectively her bodyguard, and while she isn't outright cruel to him, he is rather unhappy about being bound. Should he break the rules of this contract, his body will begin to rot once more and in a worst-case scenario, he will find himself stuck on a plane between living and dead.

A childhood friend of Abigail's and a merchant of Ishgard, they were separated for some time until they reconnected well into adulthood. After getting branded as a heretic and losing his fiancé, he couldn't bear to lose Abigail as well and, perhaps against his better judgment, he pledged himself to Eisheth Zenunim as a servant in an effort to be near her. In response, she gave him her Gift-- a miasma of disease that surrounds him at all time. With this Gift suppressed by intricate sigilwork, he looks after Abigail from afar, feeling helpless as he is unable to stop her current situation.
DEDERIC CHASTELLAIN
27 years old.
Joachim's "assistant" and only true friend. Born in Ishgard to a hyur mother and an elezen father, they were treated like dogs by society until one night, his sister could no longer stand the abuse and she poisoned the entire family. Dederic was the sole survivor.
Despite the tragedies of his past, he's laidback and sociable with a sharp tongue. He also seems to possess a rather unusual power...
